Question for Today

Kristi Growdon

Start-up,

How should you interact with Angels? Should you be “passive,” “assertive,” or “manage up”?

You should manage up!

The relationship between Angel Investors and start-up companies can quickly become frustrating for all, especially if the Angel group Due Diligence team is made up of volunteers. I recommend that the Start-up be proactive and manage up the DD process, by suggesting a schedule for milestones. The milestones should have date specifics to keep the DD on track.

Interested in creating a DD strategy to work with Angel Investors? I would like to work with you to develop a plan that will be a success.
